Hurry! Only 41 Seat's Left.

OCTOBER 18 – OCTOBER 27, 2020

Have you ever wanted to join Paul Wilbur in Israel to worship in beautiful places like the Galilee, the Garden Tomb or overlooking Jerusalem?

Do you desire to learn more about your Biblical
genealogy and to see the actual places spoken of in scripture?

Then this is your chance to walk side by side with Paul Wilbur as you walk where Jesus walked!

What makes our tours to Israel unique?

Paul will be on the bus every day, sharing special Biblical insights along the way, as well as leading a time of worship throughout Israel.

We will also connect with Joshua Aaron for a special time of worship… while in the Galilee and connect with other believers and hear first-hand what they experience.

Please carefully read through the following information in its entirety. Much time has been spent to ensure you have the experience of a lifetime in Israel, and there is a lot to go over, especially if this is your first time!

We are excited to be teaming up with Together for Israel and Travel Leaders.

TFI Tours is helping us handle the schedule and all of the details concerning the land portion of the tour. Travel Leaders with Phil Overton (800-233-6889) is assisting with the group flight bookings and can also assist you in booking your domestic flight, which you will be responsible for. We will be booking flights with EL AL or Delta departing and returning to JFK (John F Kennedy Airport in New York City).

After a few visits and receiving feedback from our travelers, we decided to enhance the experience by staying at newer hotels during our time in Israel. In Netanya (close to Tel Aviv) we will be at David Tower, in the Galilee we will be at the Magdala and finally, in Jerusalem, we will be at the beautiful Mamilla.

Please note that this is only a sample itinerary that could change due to many reasons beyond our control. Also, if you have any physical disabilities with walking long distances or hiking, please note that a few sites may be difficult to experience fully.

I want to take this opportunity once again to thank you and Wilbur Ministries for putting such an amazing trip together!! I have been on many tours/mission trips and can honestly say this was the absolute best experience I have ever had with this number of people. The logistics were well planned out from start to finish. Kudos to you all who were involved in this venture. You guys are fantastic “cat herders”!!

Is it safe to travel to Israel?

This is, by far, the most common question asked. Since tourism is one of Israel’s most prominent industries, news agencies and/or people who may be opposed to Israel can paint Israel in such a way as to persuade potential travelers to stay away. The reality on the ground is that it is statistically safer to travel to Israel than it is to travel to some inner cities in the US. And, the most common comment that we receive when the trip is over is that people couldn’t believe how safe they felt in the Land. Obviously, Israel is in the Middle East and the political situation over there will remain tense until the Lord returns.*

*If, for any reason, the US State Department issues a travel advisory to Israel AND our agents who live in Israel agree, we will reschedule a trip if it is deemed unsafe to travel there due to political tension.

Will I have a roommate in the hotel?
Yes, the price is based on double occupancy and you can either request a roommate or you’ll be placed with someone close to your age and gender. If you want to request a single room, you can but the price is significantly higher – just let me know if you’d like that option.
How many bags can I carry on and check in?
Each traveler is allowed one carry on (plus a personal item) in addition to being allowed to check 2 bags in for the overseas portion of the trip. However, I ask that you limit it to one check in, if possible, to help us while we’re on the ground in Israel. It’s much easier for you when checking into hotels and saves us room under the bus if as many of us as possible only check in one bag.
What will the weather be like?
When we’re in the Galilee area, the weather will be warm (in the high 60’s and 70’s). When we’re in Jerusalem, the weather can be significantly cooler (50’s and 60’s during the day and even cooler at night). I recommend bringing a warm jacket for the evenings in Jerusalem and a light sweatshirt or sweater for the evening in the Galilee.
Will there be time to shop?
Yes, there will be plenty of time to shop. We know the best places that give you the best prices and we will do our best to steer you away from the places that like to take advantage of tourists.
How much money should I bring?
I recommend carrying no more than $200 cash with you. Most places that we go do take credit cards and there are also cash machines that will take your debit card and give you shekels (the Israeli currency) in return.
Will we swim in the Dead Sea?
Yes, we will spend some time in the Dead Sea for a swim.
Do you provide travel insurance?
No, I don’t provide travel insurance and leave that up to the individual traveler if they are interested in obtaining that for themselves.
What kind of clothing do you recommend packing?
I encourage people to pack modestly. There will never be a time where you have to ‘dress up’ (so leave the tuxedos and evening gowns at home). While touring, it’s perfectly fine to wear shorts and tee shirts. Jeans are acceptable everywhere we go. There are some sites that require that everyone wears pants and shirts with sleeves and we will let you know which ones they are so that you can dress appropriately on that day. The most important thing to pack is a pair of comfortable walking shoes as we do a lot of walking in the land.
Will there be baptisms in the Jordan River?
Yes, we will stop at the Jordan River and those that would like to be baptized will have that opportunity.
What do we do in the evenings?

Each evening is absolutely free. There will be times that we’ll have leaders from the Land meeting with us in a private conference room at the hotel. However, after dinner each evening, you’re free to do whatever you’d like. When in Jerusalem, we’re walking distance from the Old City and when in the Galilee area, we’ll be on the shore of the Sea of Galilee and you’ll be free to walk on the seashore or walk to nearby Tiberias and experience Israeli nightlife.
