In Need of a God Intervention Today?

Remember in the book of Daniel, the young Hebrew captives Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, forced into service in Babylon, yet servants of the Most High God?

King Nebuchadnezzar renamed them with the Babylonian names Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego…

… and in fact elevated them in his service, due to their great wisdom and understanding.

And yet, when darkness fell on Babylon’s jealous leaders and they forced the king’s hand into condemning the Hebrew slaves to certain death, Yeshua actually walked with them among the flames of the fiery furnace!

The God of Israel delivered Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, crushed the evil intentions of the king, and showed the entire nation of Babylon that He alone can save!

Or what about the once proud and zealous Pharisee named Saul of Tarsus, who encountered the light of Yeshua while on his way to Damascus, Syria, where his intent was to arrest and persecute Jewish believers in Yeshua?

When Jesus spoke to him that day, the presence and power of God was so strong that it literally knocked Saul to the ground and rendered him stone blind for days! He then became such a passionate follower of Yeshua that his letters to the believers in the first century make up two-thirds of the writings of the New Covenant!

These are reminders that the presence and power of God make all the difference in any situation.

Personally, I have seen the movement of God prevail in the most difficult of circumstances.

But one that makes my heart pound the most is when the Father touched my wife, Luanne. My wife had been afflicted for decades with a condition in her left leg called “lymphedema.”

We were told years ago by doctors specializing in this condition that it is pre-cancerous and spreads throughout the body…

eventually taking over and causing painful swelling in all the limbs and face. Imagine how we felt. We finally found a doctor 1,500 miles from our home who could help us. He told Luanne she would need to wrap her leg in layers of Ace bandages every day, sleep at night hooked up to a compression pump, and that there was no real cure for the disease.

For more than twenty-five years this is how we lived, spending thousands of dollars each year on doctors, procedures, and equipment as we tried to deal with the affliction.

Often the pain was so intense she would cry herself to sleep, and because of the pressure in an airplane cabin, she couldn’t accompany me on trips to minister.

Of course, we prayed and believed God, and many others joined us in prayer as well, but so often the answer seemed too far away.

And then one day as the Jubilee had come…

… I returned home from a ministry trip to see her standing in the doorway of our home, wearing jeans and the same size shoe on both feet!

I cannot tell you the last time I had seen such a sight. I cried, she cried, and together we rejoiced in the King’s faithfulness to take care of the kids in His Kingdom!

Are you in need of a God intervention today?

Cry out in faith to the only One who can really change things!

This is an excerpt from my book “A King Is Coming” and my heart is that you will find the encouragement you need today through our mighty God! You can get your copy of my “letter” to you on Amazon or on our website.
